Cake in a mug is SO easy to make, and here, the use of the real dark chocolate makes it extra special, with a dash of cinnamon to make it super scrumptious!
Use a spoon to mix together all the frosting ingredients, whipping and turning to soften and incorporate. Set aside.
If using hard chocolate, heat it in the mug for 30 - 40 seconds in the microwave to soften/melt.
Add the other dry ingredients to the softened chocolate, right in the mug, and mix well.
Add the wet ingredients and stir well with a spoon.
Microwave on high for one minute and ten seconds to one minute and forty-five seconds - until cake has risen and an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Frost the top of the cake, having additional frosting available as desired to add while eating through the cake. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
