There are a million-and-a-half recipes for meatballs. Of course your Grandma makes the best ones, but these might be a close 2nd, and perhaps a new favorite! Using fresh parsley makes all the difference, and smoked paprika really brings the flavor up.
Throw them over your favorite sauce and pasta, make meatball subs, or serve them alone as an hors d’oeuvre! Give ’em a try and let me know what you think!
Bourbon Meatballs

Serves:20-25 meatballs
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound plain ground pork
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 2-4 T bourbon to preference
- 1/4 t salt
- 1/4 t pepper
- 1/4 t smoked paprika
- 2 large garlic bulbs finely minced
- 1/4 cup fine chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 of a medium onion finely minced
- 1 egg
Directions:
- Very simple! Add all the ingredients to a large bowl and mix well with your hands.
- Form meatballs into two bite rounds and lay out in a grid on a baking sheet prepped with cooking spray.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes, until meatballs are golden and cooked all the way through.
