1928 Chain-Driven, Chemical Pump Apparatus
While on vacation to Nice, we visited other towns around Clear Lake, and stopped into Lakeport’s Firestation 50. Fireman Lund was very kind to show Mr. Nathan all around. He opened all kinds of compartments, asked a ton of questions, and got into every vehicle. One particularly special thing about this fire station is their 1928 chain-driven, chemical pump apparatus. Our visit ended when they needed to respond to a fire.
