This day was really chill. We took Nathan fishing in Lakeport and back at the resort in Nice. ‘Fishing.’ Not so much ‘catching.’ We see the great egrets again and some odd looking mallards, and have a great experience at Nice’s North Shore Fire Station, before settling in for a grilled shrimp for dinner. Beautiful sunsets round out this perfect day of relaxing before our arduous trip home tomorrow.
A funny side note: When Fireman Duley started the grill he turned it up to 700 and it started to ‘aromatize’ the wall textures in the nook around the grill.
